ANG peaked two days later at R624 on 14 February and currently trades at R549


In relation to gold miners, our comment on 11 February was to reduce buy long positions as the group had been trading in an extremely overbought range. Zooming out, the share has started to retreat from it's multi-year swing highs which was seen in July 2020.
